ReplyRoom AI (“ReplyRoom AI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides an AI roleplay chat mobile application. The app allows users to choose AI roles, start roleplay chats, use text or voice input, convert voice to text, listen to AI voice replies, create custom roles or groups, and use related roleplay features.

Login is optional. You can use available app features without logging in. If you choose to log in, we process the information needed to create, verify, and maintain your account or session.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect or process, how we use it, what information is sent to service providers, how long information is retained, and how users request deletion or export of their data.

By using ReplyRoom AI, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect and process only the information needed to provide, maintain, protect, analyze, and support ReplyRoom AI.

1.1 Chat Text and AI Conversation Content

When you use chat features, we process the following information:

For single-role chats, ReplyRoom AI sends only the recent conversation context needed to generate a relevant reply. The app is designed to use up to the most recent 20 messages as context for single-role chat generation.

This information is used to generate AI replies, maintain conversation continuity, and provide roleplay chat features requested by you.

1.2 Voice and Audio Data

When you choose to use a voice feature, the app requests microphone permission before recording voice input. Voice and audio information is collected and processed only after you grant microphone permission and actively use the voice feature.

Voice and audio data includes:

ReplyRoom AI does not record audio in the background. Audio recording starts only after you take an action that uses the microphone feature.

This information is used to convert voice input into text, generate AI voice replies, and play voice responses requested by you.

1.3 Optional Login, Account, and Session Information

ReplyRoom AI supports optional login. Login is not required to use available app features.

When you use the app as a guest or choose to log in, we process account, authentication, and session-related information such as:

We use this information to create or maintain your session, authenticate you, associate your activity with the correct account or guest state, protect your account, and provide account-related features.

We do not collect account passwords through ReplyRoom AI.

1.4 Custom Roles, Favorite Roles, and Groups

When you create, favorite, or manage roles and groups, we process the following information:

This information is used to save your roleplay setup, provide custom role and group chat features, and keep your selected role experience available in the app.

1.5 Device, App, Analytics, Diagnostics, and Attribution Information

To keep the app reliable, understand product usage, diagnose crashes, improve performance, measure campaign effectiveness, and protect the app from abuse, we process device, app, analytics, diagnostics, and attribution-related information.

This information includes:

ReplyRoom AI uses analytics, diagnostics, and attribution providers, including Firebase and Tenjin, to support app analytics, crash diagnostics, performance monitoring, install attribution, and campaign measurement.

On iOS, tracking-related information is collected only after the app requests App Tracking Transparency permission and you allow it. If you do not allow tracking permission, ReplyRoom AI does not access the iOS advertising identifier for tracking purposes.

You can enable or disable tracking permission at any time in your device system settings.

1.6 App Settings and Local App Data

ReplyRoom AI stores certain data locally on your device to keep the app working and preserve your preferences.

Local data includes:

Local data remains on your device until you delete it in the app, clear app data through your device settings, uninstall the app, or request assistance for data that we can reasonably identify and access.

1.7 Network Image Loading and Image Cache

Some role avatars are loaded from public image sources such as Wikimedia Commons or related public media URLs.

When the app loads these images, your device sends a network request to the image host. The image host receives technical request information needed to deliver the image, such as IP address, device request information, and request time, according to the image host’s own privacy practices.

The app stores cached copies of some role avatar images on your device to improve loading speed and reduce repeated network requests.

1.8 Support, Deletion, and Export Request Information

If you contact us for support, deletion, export, or other requests, we collect the information you choose to provide, such as:

1.9 Information We Do Not Collect

ReplyRoom AI does not collect precise GPS location, contacts, calendar data, SMS data, call logs, payment card information, government identification numbers, or biometric identifiers.

ReplyRoom AI does not sell personal information.

ReplyRoom AI does not use chat text, voice input, role content, custom prompts, AI replies, generated voice audio, or local app records for unrelated third-party behavioral advertising purposes.

2. Permissions Used by the App

ReplyRoom AI uses only the permissions needed to provide its features. Permission-based information is collected or processed only after the app requests permission and you allow it.

You can allow, deny, enable, disable, or change permissions at any time through your device system settings. If a permission is disabled, features that rely on that permission will not work, but other available app features remain usable.

2.1 Internet Access

ReplyRoom AI requires Internet access to provide AI chat, voice processing, AI voice playback, optional login, account or session services, analytics, crash diagnostics, attribution measurement, and role avatar image loading.

On Android, Internet access is a normal system permission. It is granted by the operating system when the app is installed and does not require a separate runtime permission prompt from the user.

When you use features that require an Internet connection, the app uses network access to:

If your device is offline or network access is unavailable, AI chat generation, speech-to-text, text-to-speech, voice playback, online login, online account functions, analytics, attribution, crash diagnostics, and online role avatar loading will not work properly.

2.2 Microphone Permission

ReplyRoom AI requests microphone permission only when you choose to use voice input or speech-to-text features.

Microphone permission is a runtime permission. The app asks for your permission before recording voice input. Voice information is collected only after you grant microphone permission and actively start a voice feature.

We use microphone access to:

You can allow, deny, or revoke microphone permission through your device system settings. If microphone permission is turned off, voice input and speech-to-text features will not work. Text chat features remain usable without microphone permission.

ReplyRoom AI does not record audio in the background.

2.3 App Tracking Transparency and Advertising Identifier

On iOS, ReplyRoom AI requests App Tracking Transparency permission before collecting tracking-related information or accessing the advertising identifier for tracking purposes.

If you allow tracking permission, the app uses permitted identifiers and attribution information to measure campaign performance and understand installation sources. If you deny tracking permission, the app does not access the iOS advertising identifier for tracking purposes.

You can enable or disable tracking permission through your device system settings.

3. Optional Login and Account Use

ReplyRoom AI login is optional.

This means:

Guest sessions and logged-in sessions both use technical identifiers to keep the app functioning, maintain session state, prevent abuse, and support app security.
